Somali Cultural and Integration Association – SKI from Germany, has successfully conducted training course in partnership with other youth and immigrant organizations from Finland, Norway, Sweden and Portugal to increase the capacity of migrants youth workers on social inclusion to provide crucial support the community with few opportunities living in social neighbourhoods, find strategies and measures to improve the access and permanence of the 40 youth workers in the integrated local system in the partner countries, reducing social problems due the lack of understanding and knowledge of social innovation, increase cooperation between youth workers and the quality of social inclusion learning and educational actions and promote cooperation between youth workers from partner organizations in order to enhance the social and pedagogical knowledge.

The training course took place in Best Western Hotel Darmstadt, Germany from 3rd to 9th of May 2022 and it is supported by the German National Agency – „JUGEND für Europa“ responsible for the Erasmus Plus Programme in Germany, under Key Action 1 – Learning Mobility of Individuals, Mobility of learners and staff – Youth workers mobility.

This project aimed to define the terms of realization of organizational and pedagogical autonomy more suited to the resources available on social inclusion learning, to expedite the development of the work for the sake of social cohesion, outlining new responses of youth workers in contexts that justify the support to the people in the risk situation of exclusion living in social neighbourhoods.

This training was particularly important opportunity for German organization as it gave social responsibility to their community in Darmstadt district and the possibility to cooperate at local, regional, national and international level with other organizations and institutions to promote social inclusion and social rights to the community living.
